KALATHMIKA 2025- DAY 1

  A DAY FULL OF ENERGY AND JOY

As per our third semester, we are required to participate in a community living camp commenced on 19th August 2025 with great enthusiasm and active participation from students and faculty.

The program began at 10:00 a.m. with a prayer by the College Choir, setting a serene atmosphere for the day.

Welcome Address was delivered by Sri. Sajikumar M. (Asst. Professor), the Camp Co-Ordinator.Presidential Address was given by Dr. Sreelatha Amma R. (Principal, K.P.M. B.Ed College).Inaugural Address was presented by Dr. K. Mony (Chairman, KPM Charitable Trust), followed by Felicitation speeches from dignitaries and vote of thanks was delivered by Sri. Sajikumar M.

At 11:30 a.m., the first formal session of the camp was held.The session was led by Dr. Manoj S. Manglath, who addressed the theme of "മാനവാദത്തിന്റെ മാനസിക പരിമിതികൾ" (Mental Dimensions of Humanism).The talk was insightful and encouraged participants to reflect on human values, social responsibility, and the role of education in shaping character.

The afternoon session resumed at 2:00 p.m. with Mental Development through Performing Arts Training led by Sri. Anil Karette. The session combined creativity, self-expression, and social awareness through performing arts activities.The first day’s program concluded with the National Anthem at 5:00 p.m.
