TEACHING PRACTICE- PHASE 2 (WEEKLY REFLECTION- 3)
Week 3 of my second phase of teaching practice was a meaningful blend of learning, experimentation, and self-reflection. By this stage, I felt more settled and confident in my role, which allowed me to focus on enhancing the quality of my lessons and strengthening student engagement. This week, I made a conscious effort to integrate more learner-centered strategies into my teaching. Activities like concept mapping, short quizzes, and peer explanations helped students take ownership of their learning. I also tried using more real-life examples and demonstrations, which made even challenging concepts easier for them to grasp. It was encouraging to see students becoming more curious and willing to participate actively. One of my key goals this week was to improve formative assessment.
